Postpartum Help
Every pregnancy is different. Every baby is different. It doesn't matter whether it’s your first time or 5th time. You'll need support anyways. Physical and emotional support after birth is important for you. It also can reduce your postpartum anxiety. Don’t hesitate to ask for help!
Motivate Yourself
Start by saying “Yes!” to help, to support and to giving yourself the time you need to heal. And of course, a “you’ve got this” mindset will help get you through some of the more difficult postpartum moments and sleepless nights! If you still don’t feel right, please get professional help!
Be patient with yourself
It took your body nine months to make a little human, that’s why your recovery will take some time. If you're worried about your diet and fitness during your pregnancy, don’t push yourself! Set realistic goals and be patient.
Nourish your postpartum body
Your nutrition is important to recovery. You’ll need to maintain a healthy diet in order to have energy for yourself and your newborn. 70% of your recovery is what you eat, so take care of yourself and take your vitamins.
Power Naps
Take daily 20 minute naps, while your baby is sleeping. This habit takes your tiredness away and keeps you awake for longer periods of time.
Pamper Yourself
Pamper yourself to show yourself some love. Get your hair done, indulge yourself with manicure/pedicure, skincare, body care and makeup.
Get Moving
Standing up is key! Go out, take a walk with baby and get a little fresh air every day. Don’t worry about taking these long walks, do what you want and enjoy the moment!
