Hospital Bag Must Haves
Packing up for 'delivery day' can be daunting. That's why we love these tips for hospital bags!
Getting ready for the hospital we think too much about what to bring! These questions might occupy your mind: “What will my hospital have? What will I need? Do I need to bring my baby certain items? Will they have diapers or wipes?”
We want to make sure we were prepared enough, but not too much that we are bringing lots of extra stuff that we don’t need.
Snacks: Bring healthy snacks for you and your companion. The cafeteria isn’t open 24/7 and you are up weird hours of the night. It is good to bring some snacks for you and your companion to enjoy. Snacks such as dried fruits, crackers, assorted nuts, snack bars are healthy and filling options.
Clothing: Pack your comfy pajamas that you can easily breastfeed. Make sure that you feel both comfortable and cute when you have visitors. Yamuna Breastfeeding Shapewear Top is another great option for breastfeeding. Thanks to its soft texture, you can wear it even after c-section births. Besides, the corset instantly makes your waist look two sizes slimmer.
Electronics: Make sure to pack your cameras (as charged, of course!), tripods, chargers for your phone and anything to keep you entertained. You will be there for a while!
Toiletries: I think we don’t need to explain what you should bring for your personal hygiene, but bring extra towels. It will feel so nice to have the luxury of your home there and not use the scratchy towels at the hospital.
For Your Baby: They will have diapers, wipes and everything else! Make sure to bring some pajamas, going home outfit and any accessories (bows) for pictures there! Also make sure you stock up on the items they give you at the hospital (burp clothes, diapers, pads etc..)
Pillow/Blanket: If you are a light sleeper and love to be in your own bed, bring your own pillow, ear plugs and blanket which make you feel kinda at home and more comfortable.
Slippers: Bring slippers to walk around the hospital and comfy socks! You won't want to put shoes on after giving birth or think about bending over.
Make sure to take lots of pictures and video! At the time you are going to feel the farthest from cute, but you will be so grateful for photos and videos you take when you look at them. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!!
