Regular check-ups and appointments
- If you want to be healthy, consulting a doctor and/or a dietitian is the first step. They will guide you in your fitness journey. If you want, a personal trainer can be also helpful.
Eating habits
- Starting a food diary will be helpful to you. Write on your food diary daily what you eat (including cheat meals, of course) and which food is good or bad for your health.
-Don’t be so hard on yourself! You should watch out what you eat but strict diets won’t work over the long run. Eat what you want in small portions.
-Don’t skip your meals. When you skip your meal and don’t eat for a long time, you’ll probably overeat at your next meal. Stick to your meal plan as much as possible and eat suitable portions.
- Find the main reason for your overeating. Are you really hungry or just in a bad mood? If the answer is the latter, you have to work on this problem. Doing yoga or meditating might be helpful to you.
Regular physical activity
-Choose a physical activity that keeps you motivated. It doesn’t matter which activity you choose. Regular physical activity contributes to your health and well-being.
